About Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

Ten years after the outbreak of the ALZ-113 virus, millions of humans are dead and lots of apes have been made very, very smart. Human civilisation has collapsed as its numbers dwindled. The apes have not been in contact with humans in that time and live in the woods outside San Francisco. Their leader Caesar tries to govern his people peacefully and is dismayed when a band of human survivors accidentally shoots one of his young subjects, so he visits their settlement to tell them to stay away from the woods. One survivor (Jason Clarke) believes he can make peace with the apes and asks for access to a hydroelectric dam. Caesar agrees, but dissenting voices on both sides start gathering arms.
