About As The Palaces Burn

A look at one band's courtroom nightmare and the tenacity of their fanbase. Don Argott originally envisioned making a documentary about the metal band Lamb Of God and their devoted fans throughout the world. He had been approached by the band's manager, Larry Mazer, and started contacting fans about their participation. But while filming the band in 2012, tragedy struck: a nineteen-year-old boy was accidentally killed at one of their concerts. Lead singer Randy Blythe was arrested on charges of manslaughter and spent a month in a Czech prison. Upon his release, he promised to return to court to prove his innocence. This film documents the problems the band faced as they tried to resolve the situation.
