About A Monster In Paris
An animated French comedy from the director of 'Shark Tale' and 'The Road To El Dorado.' In Paris, 1910, two best friends unleash a monster with a talent for singing. Emile (Jay Harrington) is a diminutive cinema projectionist who is too shy to ask out the ticket taker that he likes. On the other hand, his friend Raoul (Adam Goldberg) is a tall, boisterous delivery driver with an inventive side. One day when Emile tags along in Raoul's truck, they stop at the house of a genius scientist. Ignoring the warnings of the scientist's intelligent monkey, Raoul plays around with various potions before accidentally creating a seven-foot-tall monster who escapes through a skylight. A corrupt police chief (Danny Huston) is determined to kill the monster, while singer Lucille (Vanessa Paradis) discovers that he has a beautiful voice and tries to protect him.
