Spector
"They stormed out with their influences of The Killers, Roxy Music and The Strokes emblazoned across their chests with a New Romantic bow, and ever since they’ve continued to tease and please in equal measure – a band taking on the world" - Clash Magazine. Formed in 2011 by former Les Incompétents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man frontman Fred MacPherson, the melancholic widescreen pop of London five-piece Spector merge 80's synths with chugging guitars and attention-grabbing lyircs. "A Spector listener (I don’t really feel comfortable with the word fan) once told me our lyrics were good because every line could be an Instagram caption," Fred told Clash Magazine.
