Combining returning heroes, legendary performers and the best local bands continuing a fine Punk tradition, Unity presents Year Zero Festival, a brand new all day festival celebrating Unity's illustrious past in the punk and post-punk eras.

Formed in 1976, The Damned were at the absolute forefront of UK punk and their Year Zero appearance will be their first here since April 26th, 1981. Also returning are The Beat, the legendary and pioneering 2-tone band formed in Birmingham in 1978.

If that wasn't enough, they will be sharing Unity's two stages with punk survivors The Members and TV Smith, plus local bands The Ainsley Band, Skiprat, Mark Wynn, NARCS and The Swindells.

Ages 14+. See www.unityworks.co.uk/event/year-zero-festival/ for further details.
