Wannasee Live Music Tribute Festival 2015

Wannasee will feature a fantastic line up of Europe’s finest tributes, to many of the most popular acts in the World, past and present, that you could never normally hope to see all at once, across a packed weekend. These bands offer the closest live tributes to the artists they represent, that you could possibly wish for, in stunning detail, and we can guarantee a huge live music stadium experience and non-stop hits, from start to finish. Wannasee Festival weekend in Penrith is the perfect way to enjoy fantastic live music at affordable prices with awesome bands, big stage and spectacular light and sound.

All these superb artists will be performing live on the large outdoor stage from 6pm until 11pm on Friday and 12.30pm until 11:00pm, across Saturday and Sunday, inside the prestigious new football stadium at Frenchfield Park, home of Penrith Football Club, located in beautiful rural surroundings. You can come as a day visitor or for the full weekend and camping facilities are available if you want to stay. Plus there's free car parking for everyone.

A wide selection of food and drink will be available at very reasonable prices, throughout the weekend, and there's a Family Zone area containing a number of free kids attractions.

There will be a great view of the stage from all areas of the stadium and, with plenty of room on the pitch for those who prefer to sit, rather than stand, you are welcome to bring in blankets, folding chairs, picnic boxes, etc, if you choose. Picnic food and water or drinks for young children can be brought into the stadium.

If it rains, don’t worry, as in the event of wet weather, a huge open marquee will be erected across the middle of the pitch so you can get the same great view AND stay dry.

We're located at Frenchfield Park, Carleton, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 8UA (see directions at the bottom of this page) and there is a free secure car park within close walking distance of the stadium that will be clearly signposted on the weekend.

Frenchfield Park Stadium has full disabled access and there will be a separate viewing section in the stadium, on one side of the pitch, for our disabled patrons.
