Celebrate spring in Tudor style! Join us for a May Day Festival including a range of Tudor inspired activities.

Sir Robert Cecil's Men, a band of travelling actors doubling as spies for Cardinal Wolsey, will entertain with a re-enactment of Tudor Life. Join A Merrie Noyse, a group of Tudor Musicians, or learn archery with History Blooms! Make beeswax candles with Candles for all Ages, or try quill writing, brass rubbing, pomander making and Tudor clothes!

The Merchant Venturers have historical replicas on sale, or why not sample the hog roast and other stalls? See the Great Hall decorated for the festivities, watch lace being handmade, listen to Tudor Tales in the Oak Parlour.

Donation for crafts. Normal admission applies. Free parking.
