Pulp
Following a split in 2002, Jarvis Cocker spent the next few years concentrating on a new life in Paris, solo albums and becoming a DJ for BBC 6Music. Then after a nine-year hiatus, 2011 saw the triumphant return of the quintessential Britpop band from Sheffield. Featuring the original line-up, the band are back running through their 90's anthems for the common people. Do you remember the first time? If not, then catch them again now.

The Reytons
The Reytons have quickly risen from hometown heroes in South Yorkshire to a nationally renowned indie-rock outfit. A word-of-mouth sensation, with huge industry support. "Busting with the working man grit and the no bulls**t ideals that we all fell in love with when the Arctic Monkeys burst onto the scene" - Gig Addict

Kasabian
A glorious synth-tinged melting pot of indie rock that will caress the eardrums. Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.

Spiritualized
Singer/guitarist Jason Pierce formed his group Spiritualized from the ashes of trance-rockers , combining his prior band's trademark hypnotic minimalism with uplifting atmospheric lightness that reached a peak with their 1997 classic Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space and the 2001 international chart success Let It Come Down. With extended gaps between releases, Spiritualized continued into the 2010s with Sweet Heart, Sweet Light and And Nothing Hurt. Influenced by The Velvet Underground, La Monte Young, and Steve Reich, Spiritualized staked out a common ground between minimalism and lush symphonics. While powered by simple, repetitious motifs, their songs simultaneously blossomed into rich, shimmering sonic panoramas inspired by the majestic studio wizardry of and . Their very name acknowledged the existence of other forces, further reflected in their heavy debt to gospel and soul music as well as an affinity for mantras and devotional hymns.

Baxter Dury
Son of the late Ian Dury, Baxter proved himself to be another talented member of the Dury family. Clearly a chip off the old block, he has also found a style of his own. His sharp portraits of odd ball characters and hook laden storytelling have marked him out as a wordsmith of some renown and his self professed 'seaside psychedelia' is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

John Grant
Former lead vocalist with cult band The Czars, the Denver-born singer has since carved out a far more successful career for himself as a solo artist. His style has smoothly moved from dark indie-folk to more upbeat ventures with electronic-pop and an orchestral collaboration with the BBC Philharmonic. He was nominated as Best International Male Solo Artist at the BRITS 2014 and continues to be heaped with critical praise upon every release.
