Strawberries & Creem Festival celebrates its fifth birthday in June 2019, laying on another summer Saturday filled with the best in UK urban and dance music, spanning from hip-hop and garage through to house, grime and more.

Recent lineups have included the likes of Skepta, T-Pain, Shy FX, Heidi and David Rodigan across three stages on Haggis Farm just outside Cambridge.

2019 will be the festival's biggest year yet, with over 15,000 people and more than 50 artists set to descend upon the farm for what has been described as one of the UK's most interesting and ambitious festivals.

Stefflon Don

Stefflon Don appearing at this event

Stephanie Allen aka Stefflon Don is an MC with inventive rhymes and wordplay. The east Londoner first started making waves in 2015 with her versions of Wretch 32’s Six Words and Section Boyz’s Lock Arff. Since then she’s been in high demand, appearing on tracks by the likes of Lethal Bizzle, Sneakbo and Angel.

Ms Dynamite

When 'Booo!' catapulted Ms Dynamite into the spotlight in May 2001, it swiftly established the London MC as one of the hottest young talents to emerge from the capital's fertile UK garage scene. Winner of the Mercury Music Prize 2002 and 3 MOBO awards in the same year.

Mahalia

Mahalia appearing at this event

Based in Birmingham, Mahalia is Mahalia Burkmar, an alt-R&B/soul singer and songwriter who counts Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill among her biggest influences. A native of Leicestershire, she started writing songs and playing the guitar as a preteen. Burkmar drew the interest of major record labels by the age of 13. After taking some time to finish school and hone her sound, Mahalia re-emerged in 2015 on Rudimental's single We The Generation, and performed with the group on Later...with Jools Holland. Since then she's released a string of singles, EPs and an album and acted in the film Brotherhood. 2019 sees the release of her 2nd album Love And Compromise.

WSTRN are an RnB rap collective made up of Haile Charles and Louis Rei, who grew up close by in their neighbourhood of West London. 'South London has had its thing, east has, north has - now it's the west's turn,' they say. 'That’s why we are called WSTRN'. The band do not like to be categorised into any one genre, as they feel their influences of reggae, motown, hip hop, R&B and pop music are all evident in their musical style.

There's a clear influence from a certain Mike 'The Streets' Skinner, along with a love of old school Hip-Hop, from Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z toTupac. A total DIY artist, he's recorded much of his material in his bedroom, along with inventive videos that have become YouTube favourites.
