Rewind Festival - South 2018: Kool & The Gang, OMD, Billy Ocean, Jimmy Somerville, Marc Almond, Paul Carrack, Kim Wilde, Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey, Howard Jones, Roland Gift (Fine Young Cannibals) & more
Rewind Festival is a weekend filled with performances from musical legends, themed venues, pop-up entertainment and a welcoming festival atmosphere.
Taking place across three UK locations, its South edition sees it setup at Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames, where it all began back in 2009.
Here, festival-goers will be able to enjoy all kinds of fun, including the legendary silent disco, pop-up pubs, comedy and karaoke, or the chance to unwind with a yoga session or massage.

Kool & The Gang tour dates
OMD, aka Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, are the long established synth-pop Wirral duo Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. The band rose to fame with their fourth single 'Enola Gay', which became a major hit throughout Europe in 1980, then went on to achieve worldwide popularity in '81 with their third album 'Architecture & Morality', selling over 4 million copies. The continued to be active throughout the rest of the 80s, through the 90s, 00s and into the 2010s, still scoring hit albums and delivering unmissable live shows.
OMD tour dates
Billy Ocean holds the prestigious title of being the biggest selling British black artist of all time. Billy has sold over 30 million records in his lifetime and has collected a pile of Gold and Platinum records across the world. Paul Carrack tour dates
Daughter of the evergreen Marty Wilde, Kim's debut single 'Kids In America' was released in 1980 and was a massive hit single. Alongside rejuvenating her singing career, Kim has developed green fingers and is a presenter on the BBC's programme 'Garden Invaders'.

Formed in 1977, Thompson Twins had huge hits in the '80s with classics such as "You Take Me Up", "Doctor Doctor", "Hold Me Now" and "Love On Your Side". Disbanding in 1993, Tom Bailey now revisits the Thompson Twins classic hits and his other well- known songs in a show which revisits an era of electronic pop.
Bailey has also worked in many different areas of music from the experimental electronics of Babble and Kolab to the Indo-fusion of the Holiwater Band, the visual astronomy project BSP and the sound-system dub of International Observer.

A respectable face of eighties pop with strong feelings on animal rights and life's excesses. His catchy chart-topping tunes with erudite and meaningful lyrics have earned him a fans and respect the world over. He scored a string of worldwide hits including 'New Song', 'What Is Love?' and 'No one Is To Blame'. Best known for his synth work, Jones is also a classically trained pianist and released 3 albums in 2007, including 'Piano Solos volume 2'.

Roland Gift was the lead singer of Fine Young Cannibals. The Birmingham trio were one of the biggest bands of the late 80s and scored a number one album with 1989’s The Raw And The Cooked, which included hit singles She Drives Me Crazy and Good Thing. Roland is again writing and touring FYC’s best-loved songs alongside his own new material.

As Shalamar, Howard Hewett and Jeffrey Daniel sold over 25 million records worldwide and collected no less than 100 gold, silver and platinum awards. They always whip the crowd into a frenzy with classics such as I Can Make You Feel Good, A Night To Remember, Friends, Make That Move, The Second Time Around, There It Is and I Owe You One.
Completing the group is Carolyn Griffey (daughter of Shalamar founder Dick Griffey, the CEO of SOLAR records). The line up has been touring since 2001.

The brainchild of Martyn Ware and born from the collapse of the original Human League, 80's synth pioneers Heaven 17 have stood the test of time and been an influence on the future of modern music for over thirty years. Their debut 1981 album, 'Penthouse And Pavement', was, and remains, a modern classic. Glenn Gregory and Martyn continue to perform the hits from their overwhelming back catalogue, including 'Temptation' and '(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang', along with unveiling their first new material in 12 years.

From Slik and The Rich Kids to Ultravox and Band Aid, Midge has produced consistently innovative and excellent pop music. Fronting Ultravox, Midge had nine top 10 albums and sold in excess of 20 millions records in the UK alone before moving on to an equally successful solo career. His most successful song though remains the multi-million selling Do They Know It's Christmas, which he co-wrote with Bob Geldof.

'80s heartthrob Jason Donovan won nearly every Australian award during his time on Aussie soap Neighbours, and the hearts of millions. His vocal career began in 1988 when he released 'Especially for You' with Kylie Minogue and a debut solo album 'Ten Good Reasons'. Following the release of his second album in 1989, Jason became the biggest selling UK and European artist.
He kicked off a successful West End career in 1991 with a starring role as Joseph in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the Palladium. He's since gone on to star in productions such as 'The Rocky Horror' UK Tour during the show's 25th anniversary and Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert', as well as coming third in the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

80s pop hero and acclaimed singer/songwriter who has successful re-launched his career as a 'serious' musician. Expect a mixed selection of new material as well as all the old favourites.

Undoubtedly still the one and only, Chesney Hawkes is a living legend. His career began in 1991 when he starred in the film 'Buddy's Song' alongside Roger Daltrey. Then came the infamous 'One And Only', Chesney's biggest hit and also the twentieth most successful UK release of the '90s.

Fronted by fiery redhead Carol Decker, T'Pau were one of the first acts to have a number one single and number one album in the charts at the same time with China In Your Hand and Bridge Of Spies. Other hits include Heart And Soul, Secret Garden and Valentine.

From the Jam features Bruce Foxton from the original Jam line up. He also spent 15 years playing bass with Stiff Little Fingers. Bruce is joined by Russell Hastings on lead vocal and guitar.
From The Jam have gained a reputation for the kind of incendiary ‘live’ performances that sealed the reputation of The Jam all those years ago. Audiences can expect to hear classic The Jam hits such as Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, Going Underground, Town Called Malice and The Modern World as well as some live favourites and songs from Bruce’s solo career.

Formed in 1979 in Kirkby on Merseyside, China Crisis are essentially vocalist/keyboardist Garry Daly and guitarist Eddie Lundon.
With hits including 'Wishful Thinking', 'Black Man Ray' and 'King In A Catholic Style (Wake Up)', their distinctive AOR-fuelled pop songs were everywhere in the '80s, spending a total of 92 weeks in the charts. Who said the '80s were all bad? China Crisis, for instance, were largely considered one of the better musical things about that much-maligned decade.
The guys continue to tour and play festivals today.
China Crisis tour dates
The original rude boy, and one of the undisputed forerunners of the ska movement. Best known for being the lead singer of The Specials, Neville is credited with changing the face of pop music not only once but twice. His biography reads like a who's who of rock. Not only has he worked with such legends as Elvis Costello, David Byrne and Ali Campbell but has also shared the stage with ska icons Rankin Roger (English Beat), forming Special Beat. Although this line up never actually recorded an album, they successfully toured the US with Sting and Steel Pulse before embarking on their own headline tour.

Andrew Roachford has been on the UK music scene since the 1980s and continues to grow and mature as a superb artist. His sound may have changed from the soul/rock fusion of debut hits 'Cuddly Toy' and 'Family Man' to more contemporary soul and RnB, but the quality has remained as consistently high as ever.
Andrew’s trademark has become his rare ability to put into words, feelings you didn’t even know you had, 'It’s one of the reasons why I make music; to bring out those things that people feel, but haven’t always got a voice for. I like to bring the inner person to the forefront'. And over the years, anthems like ‘Lay Your Love Out On Me’, ‘Naked Without You’ and ‘Complicated’, to name but a few, have done just that.
Andrew Roachford tour dates
A colourful character, part of the '80s post-punk New Wave scene, Toyah had considerable chart success with hits such as It's A Mystery, I Want To Be Free and Brave New World.
Alongside her ongoing recording career and role as a TV presenter, Toyah has also trod the boards with the lead role in the musical Anne Get Your Gun.
