Featuring
Primal Scream
Loaded with a massive eclectic body of work, from their early C86 jangly guitar releases to the ambient baggy indie-rock sound of their Mercury Prize winning 'Screamadelica', their mid-career pastiche of the Rolling Stones, right through to their later more experimental dance-based material, Bobby Gillespie and the boys are forever movin' on up.

Belle & Sebastian
Glasgow indie darlings Belle and Sebastian’s star has steadily risen from humble yet precocious beginnings. Their cult debut album ‘Tigermilk’ was devised as a school project in 1996, but it was follow up ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ that brought them to mainstream attention with their heartfelt and quirky lyrics appealing to lonely teenagers and music completists alike. Belle and Sebastian are an exciting and accomplished live act, and with a huge back catalogue of songs including hits ‘The Boy with the Arab Strap’ and ‘I’m A Cuckoo’ that sit comfortably next to obscure b-sides and special releases.

Neneh Cherry
The daughter of painter Moki Cherry and West African percussionist Amadu Jah, Neneh was raised by her mother and stepfather Don Cherry, the celebrated jazz trumpeter and global music pioneer. Not surprising that she made her career in music. A member of ska punk band The Nails and briefly all-girl punk outfit The Slits, Neneh made her name as vocalist with funk-punks Rip Rig & Panic. In 1987, she launched her solo career with the single Buffalo Stance, the rest is history. Hit albums and hit singles quickly followed, and further established Neneh as a critically acclaimed singer and songwriter.

Hot Chip
Hot Chip make a strangely quirky kind of electro-pop music fusing the sounds of Prince, Devo, the Beta Band and the Beach Boys. The GRAMMY and Mercury nominated band hit their mainstream peak with the top 30 single 'Over And Over' and the top 10 hit 'Ready For The Floor', but their energetic live shows have continued to reach bigger audiences.

Roisin Murphy
Former lead singer of the very successful indie-dance group Moloko, Murphy's solo material breaks away from the traditional Moloko sound to become a bit more electro and funked up, but at the same time, her songs are often chill-out material. With a haunting but beautiful voice, Roisin's unusual vocals carry the trippy sound of her solo material whilst putting her own inimitable style on every single song that she writes and produces.

LoneLady
Released on Warp in March 2015 LoneLady's Hinterland comes like a bolt from the dark, channelling dance and funk influences to explore the post-industrial ruinscape, brutalist architecture and psychogeography of her native Manchester. At its core beats a special kind of uncomplicated drum machine rhythm and the synthetic timbre of percussion that recalls fractured memories of minimal wave and even early techno, lashed together with LoneLady's intricate and propulsive style of guitar playing.
