Oktoberfest Portsmouth

The world famous Oktoberfest comes to Portsmouth for a huge weekend of traditional Bavarian entertainment, food and drink.

The most important date of Germany's cultural calendar arrives in Portsmouth this year for the very first time.

Taking place inside what is set to be one of Europe's Largest bier tents for a Bavarian style festival in Portsmouth Guildhall Square including a showcase some of the best and authentic oompah bands from around the world across all three sessions. Plus a large selection of traditional German foods plus those all important steins!

Oktoberfest Portsmouth celebrates an ongoing 65-year partnership between Portsmouth and Duisburg, Germany as twin cities since 1950.

Session times are as follows -
Friday Evening - 6:00pm - 11:00pm
Saturday Afternoon - Midday - 5:00pm
Saturday Evening - 6:00pm - 11:00pm

Oktoberfest Portsmouth is an 18 and over event.
