Part of the hugely revered European festival family, NOS Primavera Sound is the annual Portuguese outing for the brand, taking place each June in the city of Porto.
Similarly committed to musical diversity and forward-thinking curation as its Barcelona-based older sibling, the festival's lineup comprises indie and alternative favourites, stars of hip-hop, and a selection of electronic music's underground heroes.
And while the atmosphere and fanbase are also very similar to that of the Spanish flagship, one point where the Porto edition arguably comes out on top is the setting: a beautiful green and scenic park in the heart of one of Europe's most underrated cities.
