Featuring

Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi appearing at this event

Lewis Capaldi grew up in the small town of Bathgate outside Glasgow. He picked up the guitar at aged 9 and started writing songs shortly after. By the age of just 12, he began sneaking into pubs around Glasgow, honing his craft playing impromptu sets anywhere he could find an audience. He found global fame in 2019 with his multi-platinum hit, Someone You Loved, and since then has gone on to tour the world while scooping up GRAMMY nominations and Brit Awards. 2019 also saw the release of his long-awaited debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide within the first year, with combined global streams of over 3 billion.

Foals

Foals appearing at this event

From playing chaotic house parties in their home city of Oxford to becoming major festival headliners across Europe, Foals’ trajectory has been remarkable. Since forming in 2005 they’ve earned critical acclaim (NME and Q Award wins, plus Mercury Prize, Ivor Novello and BRIT Award nominations) and fan devotion (1.7 million sales of their four Gold-certified albums, plus over half a billion streams at Spotify since 2015) in equal measure. And while the majority of contemporaries have fallen by the wayside, Foals continue to hit new peaks.

Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol appearing at this event

Northern Irish-Scottish alt-rock outfit, Snow Patrol, broke into the mainstream with their 2003 major-label debut, Final Straw, a collection of earnest tunes aligned with the sounds of contemporaries like Coldplay, Keane, and Travis. They followed with the success of 2006's Eyes Open - which featured the international hit single Chasing Cars - paving the way for the band's UK's Top Ten platinum efforts A Hundred Million Suns and Fallen Empires. After an extended six-year hiatus, during which time frontman Gary Lightbody worked as a songwriter for pop artists, the band returned with Wildness in 2018. It was announced by the PPL in 20019 that Chasing Cars was the most played song on UK radio of the 21st Centuryat that point.

A songwriter, banjo player and producer from Brooklyn. She received an unexpected break when Pharrell Williams dropped into her study class to give some tips. Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers appearing at this event

Despite the much-publicised trials and tribulations they've gone through, James, Sean and Nicky remain the Kings of the Welsh music scene. Highly ideological, extremely patriotic and outrageously popular, having produced classic indie/rock cross-overs such as 'A Design For Life', 'You Love Us' and 'Motorcycle Emptiness'. Music with a message from a trio who've earnt the right to sing it.
