The Pigs Ear Folk Ale is now a local institution for lovers of live music on the West Kent border.
The Friends of the Folk Ale concerts will (as usual!) feature a wealth of talented local artists playing a wide range of acoustic music.
This year, they are delighted to welcome visiting Morris side, Royal Liberty who will be out and about as well as dancing at the festival. They have a varied programme of workshops, and while the late great John Barden's presence will be sadly missed, he will surely be there in spirit at the evening singaround sessions.
They kick off as usual with a ceilidh in the Village Hall on Thursday evening - this year, they are delighted to welcome Alan Austen calling the dances, with music as usual from the excellent Round House Folk.
The Kentish Horse provides a magnificent and intimate venue, with on-site camping. There will be an outside bar, and hot meals from the pub throughout the weekend, including a Saturday BBQ.
