Featuring
Fairport Convention
Fairport Convention are often credited with being the first English electric folk band. Formed in April 1967, with Simon Nicol, Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings and Shaun Frater, Fairport rapidly developed from playing cover versions of American 'west coast' style music to an individual style which melded rock music with traditional English tunes and songs. Bedevilled by numerous personnel changes they temporarily disbanded in 1979 but reformed in 1985. Since then, they have enjoyed stability and continue to tour and record regularly. Fairport Convention hold a coveted BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and their groundbreaking album Liege & Lief was voted 'Most Influential Folk Album Of All Time' by Radio 2 listeners.

10cc
Formed in 1970, 10cc were an all-star line up comprised of Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, who were all successful, well-known musicians in their own rights before forming the band. 10cc were one of the most popular and well known bands of the '70s with their biggest hit I'm Not in Love reaching number one in the UK. The current line-up features co-founder Graham Gouldman (bass, guitar, vocals), Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion) – both of whom have been with the band since the mid-’70s – joined by Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Iain Hornal (vocals, guitar). Testament to 10cc’s ongoing appeal, the band can count a generation straddling array of fellow artists, everyone from Chrissie Hynde to The Feeling’s Dan Gillespie and Axl Rose to Sophie Ellis Bextor, among their many millions of fans.

In 1993 he recorded his first album with Threshold, ‘Wounded Land’. He would return for their third album 'Extinct Instinct'. In 1997, Damian's debut solo album 'Cosmas' was released. This album was a departure from the heavy/progressive rock sound that people had been used to. He managed to surprise people even more by landing the role of Jean Valjean in Cameron Mackintosh's touring production of Les Misérables. He played lead role for two years. In 2000 Damian fronted Rick Wakeman’s Rock Ensemble and toured and recorded with them for two years. During that time he also featured on several Ayreon albums. This collaboration with Arjen Lucassen would result in three more Star One albums. In 2007 he was asked by Threshold to return as lead singer. Three studio albums and numerous tours have followed since. In that same year he formed the progressive rock band Headspace with Adam Wakeman. They released an EP and supported Ozzy Osbourne on his 2007 tour, but it would take 5 years for their debut album ‘I Am Anonymous’ would be released. As part of a 3 album deal with InsideOut Music, the second Headspace album was released in February 2016.
