The UK's biggest rock and metal fest is back in June 2018 for another weekend of amazing live music.

Download Festival is the home of rock and metal and takes place on the sacred grounds of Donington Park, which has been associated with rock since the 80's. The festival attracts icons of to its main stage, plus some of the best and hottest new acts in the world. AC/DC, KISS, Metallica, Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, Rage Against The Machine, Slipknot, Linkin Park and many more have all headlined its main stage.

The first headliner to be announced for 2018 is the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. No stranger to the hallowed grounds of Donington, The Prince Of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne will headline the Sunday night. Having previously graced the main stage in previous years fronting Black Sabbath, this will be his first ever Download headline solo appearance.

The second headliner to be confirmed is Avenged Sevenfold who will return to Download Festival once more, to give a momentous Friday night headline performance that will be talked about for years to come.

The third and final headliner to be announced is the mighty Guns N' Roses who will take to the stage on the Saturday night. Reuniting last year for the first time since 1993, the inimitable Axl Rose, guitar legend Slash and original bassist Duff McKagan, plus Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese, have been blowing audiences away worldwide on the aptly named Not In This Lifetime Tour, and will stop by Donington on the Saturday night for their first UK Festival appearance of the classic line up.
