CarFest is the UK’s Biggest Family Fundraising Festival, with a mission to bring the true spirit of family to life. This year CarFest, the brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, is celebrating its 10th anniversary! Packed to the brim with activities for every member of the family, the festivals promise family fun, with the best music, the fastest and loudest cars, and the brightest stars! Come and join us!

CarFest South will be held at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire from 27th – 29th August 2021.

Across the weekend, the Main Stage will play host to a fabulous line-up of acts joining forces to celebrate CarFest’s 10th birthday, including Rick Astley, All Saints, James,Bay, The Magic Numbers as well as The CarFest Supergroup featuring The Feeling, Beverley Knight, Rob Brydon and Ricky Wilson.
As well as a great music line-up, CarFest also brings together some of the most popular and familiar TV chefs at the Napoleon Kitchen Stage including Candice Brown, Cyrus Todiwala, Prue Leith, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner, leading DJs at the Club CarFest stage and a host of stars chatting intimately on the StarFest stage.
The festival site is packed with entertainment and activities for the whole family including four daily track shows featuring a breath-taking collection of cars, a host of interactive stands and features, shopping and loads to eat and drink!
Since CarFest was born, its sole purpose has been to raise funds for UK’s Charities and has successfully raised over £16.5 million for BBC Children in Need and its other partner charities. The festival will continue to #DoMoreGood to raise funds for UK Charities in 2021 and all profits will go directly to our charity partners: BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and Teenage Cancer Trust.

CarFest will be carefully designed to ensure the whole site, including staff and visitors meet with the latest government guidelines around Covid-19.

Rick Astley

Rick Astley appearing at this event

At the age of 21, Rick Astley emerged from the shadows of the Stock, Aitken and Waterman production house as their former tea boy became one of the biggest stars on the planet. His era-defining classic ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ topped charts the world over and catapulted the young Lancastrian on a journey that would encompass 8 consecutive UK Top 10 hits and 40 million sales. In 2016, Rick celebrated his half-century by releasing ‘50’ - an album title that put a cheeky, middle-aged twist on Adele’s ‘19’, ‘21’ and ‘25’. “I thought rather than buying a Harley-Davidson I'd make a record,” he notes with characteristic dry wit. Having written and produced the album as well as playing all of the instruments himself, suddenly it was like he’d never been away. It raced to the top of the charts and began a seven-week run in the Top 10. In the months that followed, he sold 400,000 albums and 100,000 tickets to his headline shows. He cemented that comeback with 2018’s ‘Beautiful Life’. It was an emotionally-charged collection with songs that celebrated his love for his wife, his daughter and music as a whole. His commitment was rewarded with a #6 chart position - his fifth Top 10 album. And the shows continued to scale up too, including special performances with Foo Fighters.
