Join us for a fabulous weekend of blues in the intimate setting of The Heathlands Hotel in Bournemouth. A great opportunity to hear some superb music and visit Bournemouth’s shops and Christmas market.
The hotel is very welcoming and friendly, and we have ‘Happy Hour’ every day. Plus bacon butties at midnight! In addition to the late night jam sessions, we also have an ‘open mic’ area so that you can have an informal jam or practice during the day. Plus a blues cinema. Tremendous fun as well as being a brilliant music weekend!

The Spikedrivers are one of the most original, innovative and exciting bands on the live music circuit. The bluesy combination of Ben Tyzack's sublime slide guitar, Constance Redgrave's deceptively simple bass lines, Maurice McElroy's precise drumming and percussion, along with their distinctive vocals and harmonies, creates a sound that is familiar yet different to anything you've ever heard before. Their roots are firmly in the Mississippi Delta, but their songwriting and arranging talents bring them right up to date. Their music has been described as 'haunting', 'gutsy', 'tribal' and even ‘psychedelic’. Spikedrivers are the new sound of transatlantic blues.
