Voted 'Best British Blues Festival' in the 2010 British Blues Awards, the event is staged in a beautiful 40 acre setting on the Sussex Coastal plain, a couple of miles south of Chichester and has a? ?huge reputation for presenting high quality music from world-class musicians, in a family-friendly, safe and relaxed environment.
Blues On The Farm presents a broad showcase of talent, with a blend of traditional blues and new blues (and some of the blues in between) from both sides of the Atlantic. The Blues came from spirituals and slave plantations and has crossed gender, class, race, oceans and countries. Enjoyed in juke joints, cellar bars and concert halls... and now? in the fields? of a cider farm.
Blues On The Farm attracts a wide audience for it's excellent line up but also for it's relaxed atmosphere, incredible local food, an enormous range of ?
delicious local? beers, interesting, varied trade stalls and much more. All of this in the sunshine, on a farm, with like-minded people. What's not to love?
