We're thrilled to announce the first incredible acts set to light up the second Black Isle Belter festival next May!

Get ready for chart-topping legends Scouting for Girls, iconic indie- rockers The Farm, the electrifying genre-bending sounds of Alabama 3, West Coast hero's Trail West, Trad meeting Trance beats with Valtos and the one and only RuMac!

And that's just the beginning; stay tuned for more coming your way. This is set to be an unforgettable weekend of music, fun, and festival vibes on the stunning Black Isle, Uilly, Innes and Boydie.

After two incredible days in May 2024 which saw 10,000 Peat and Diesel fans gather from around the globe on the Black Isle Showground near Inverness, they couldn't not do it all again. More bands, more trucks and a bigger bar!

Alabama 3

Legendary Brixton collective, best known for the theme tune to the TV show 'Sopranos'. They combine techno beats with country instruments and are a group best sampled live. 'The best live band in the country' (The Guardian).

Scouting For Girls

Friends since they were five, indie pop three-piece Scouting For Girls (Roy Stride, Pete Ellard, and Greg Churchouse) burst onto the music scene in 2007 with their self-titled debut which went on to become triple platinum and birthed the generation-bridging anthems of ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’ and ‘Heartbeat’. Scouting For Girls went on to release ‘Everybody Wants To Be On TV’ (2010), ‘The Light Between Us’ (2012), ‘Still Thinking About You’ (2015), The Trouble With Boys (2019) plus the mega number 1 hit single ‘This Ain’t A Love Song’.

Trail West

With all band members hailing from the Hebridean Isles of Tiree and South Uist, the music and culture that they were raised in remains a pure and refreshing trademark in the sound of Trail West.

The Farm

Formed in the mid-80s by former youth worker Peter Hooton. Probably best known for their anthemic hit 'All Together Now', first released in 1990 and reissued as the official England European Championships single in 2004, they're still getting on the Groovy Train today.

Valtos

Valtos are an Electronic-Traditional duo comprised of Isle of Skye based Martyn MacDonald and Daniel Docherty. With their early remixes of the Peatbog Faeries, Niteworks, Lapywng, and Project Smok showcasing both the adaptability and variety in their sound, Valtos are seeking to create something both new and vibrant. Finding inspiration in both the traditional music and breathtaking beauty of their home, their self-titled debut album was released in June 2022.
