**Please note: Booking for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich has now closed and all available tickets have been allocated. A final few tickets will be given away in on-air competitions on Radio 1 in the weeks leading up to the event – keep listening for more information. If you weren’t lucky in getting tickets, you’ll be able to enjoy extensive coverage of the weekend across Radio 1, 1Xtra, BBC Three and online.**
Earlham Park will be the next location of Radio 1's Big Weekend. The annual music festival, held in a different UK location every year, will take place in Norwich on the 23rd and 24th of May.
Taylor Swift and Florence & The Machine have been announced as headliners for the main stage, while Radio 1's 'Sound of 2015' winners, Years & Years, will headline the 'In New Music We Trust' stage on the Saturday. The BBC introducing stage will provide a platform for local acts.
Tickets to the festival are famously free. For 2014's big weekend, held in glasgow, 50% of tickets were reserved for those who live within the boundaries of Glasgow City Council. This continues the BBC tradition of aiming to reserve the majority of tickets to those who live in the host city.
