Well Thumbed is cry-your-make-up-off hilarious.

Once upon a time when you took a classic book from the shelf it always opened at the well-thumbed mucky bits. Thats all the excuse that Terry Victor (of stage, screen and airwaves) needs for some outrageously rude stand-up literature*. Played for laughs and gasps Well Thumbed is, literally, the classics with the clean bits taken out.

A fantastic show delivered with great panache by a very talented and enthusiastic performer. Utterly engaging and superbly researched with real wit. Proof that even the highest brow of literature is not above a top shelf knob gag. (Edinburgh Fringe)

Well Thumbed is a libertine and ribald celebration that contains historically robust language and subject matter. And, somehow it manages to squeeze the work of more than 70 great writers into a ridiculously entertaining hour.

* Stand-up literature is stand-up comedy but with better writers.
