Family Theatre Festival: The Incredible Book Eating Boy

This intriguing theatre adaptation of Oliver Jeffers’s award-winning children’s book by Bootworks Theatre follows the story of Henry, a boy with a voracious appetite for books.

But unlike everyone else, he loves to Eat books! Better still, he realises the more books he eats, the smarter he gets, but a book-eating diet isn’t the healthiest of habits, as Henry soon finds out.

Recommended for ages 4 years and over, this exciting theatrical dramatisation uses live performance, puppetry and projection in an inspirational and unique 5-minute staging, which is presented to one child and an accompanying adult at a time, resulting in a brief but unforgettable experience.
