Gaze Is A Gap Is A Ghost
New York-born Daniel Linehan - a New Wave Associate at Sadler’s Wells - has developed a successful career as a performer and choreographer since graduating from the world-renowned PARTS dance school in Brussels in 2010. After performing Zombie Aporia at the Lilian Baylis Studio in 2012, he returns this spring with his latest work, Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost, co-commissioned by Sadler’s Wells.
Combining video and live dance, Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost looks at the relationship between the human body and technology; the real and the virtual. Through pre-recorded video footage, the audience is given imaginative access to the visual perspectives of three dancers, as they perform live on stage in unison with their past.
