Gilbert and Sullivan’s sparkling nautical comic opera, in a special concert performance led by respected historical performance expert Richard Egarr.

A satirical tale of forbidden love and shocking revelations of class and identity, it’s one of the most enduringly popular of Gilbert and Sullivan’s great comic creations, with songs including ‘Little Buttercup’ and ‘He is an Englishman’.

Scottish Opera bring together a fine cast of British singers, including respected tenor John Mark Ainsley as Admiral Sir Joseph Porter, and bass-baritone Andrew Foster-Williams as Captain Corcoran, Commander of the H.M.S. Pinafore.
