Jillian and Catherine are touring the UK performing a series of concerts to celebrate the release of their debut album Ae spark o’ Nature’s fire, a collection of songs by Robert Burns, with arrangements by contemporary Scottish composers including Rory Boyle and John Maxwell Geddes. Professor Paul Mealor FRSA, composer of the Royal Wedding Ubi Caritas and the No 1 hit Wherever you are, wrote an arrangement of Ae fond kiss especially for Jillian.

The concert will include tracks from the album as well as works by other Scottish composers including James MacMillan and John Maxwell Geddes and Aberdeen-based composer Paul Mealor as well as Scandinavian, Russian and Spanish song.
