Al is a regular contributor on Irish TV and radio and made his UK television debut in November 2015, landing a coveted slot on the eleventh series of BBC’s Live At The Apollo after a standout performance at last years Edinburgh Fringe.

Joel Dommett is a firm favourite on the UK comedy circuit, having gained rave reviews and critical acclaim for his Edinburgh shows. No stranger to the small screen, Joel recently starred as team captain on ITV2’s ‘Reality Bites’ and as a regular on Sky1’s ‘Bring The Noise’. Other TV appearances include: ‘Channel 4 Comedy Gala at the O2 2016’, BBC2’s ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and BBC3’s ‘Sweat The Small Stuff’.

Set to be the Edinburgh’s biggest comedy event this August, the Edinburgh Comedy Gala 2016 will showcase some of the finest comedic talent at the Fringe in aid of Waverley Care, Scotland’s largest charity providing care and support to people living with HIV and Hepatitis C. Since its launch in 2003, the Edinburgh Comedy Gala has raised over £400,000 for the charity, helping to make a positive difference in the lives of people affected by HIV or Hepatitis C across Scotland.

With some very exciting names already signed up to take part in this year’s show, plus more to be announced, the Comedy Gala 2016 In Aid of Waverley Care promises to be the highlight of any comedy fan’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe diary.
