Ding Dong The Witch Is Back! Multi-award winning fringe sensation Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho presents the most fabulous game show of all! Fresh from total sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs in 2014 and 2015, the Iron Lady has now set her sights on light entertainment and has decided to become the new Mr. Saturday Night (except not a man).

Join Maggie as she makes audience members compete for their golden giro cheque in a drag comedy cabaret Saturday teatime extravaganza like no other! Alongside cameo appearances from Winston Churchill, Owen Jones, Nicola Sturgeon and Jeremy Corbyn, there’ll be songs, games and of course... catchphrases: 'The Lady’s not for turning, for turning the lady’s ...?’

Created by Jon Brittain and Matt Tedford and produced by Off The Kerb Productions in association with Áine Flanagan Productions, the magnificent Maggie returns to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a brand new show for 2016! Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Game Shows will be at the Assembly George Square Piccolo at 9pm, from the 4th – 28th August.

Jon Brittain said, 'For our next show, rather than repeat ourselves, we decided to try something a bit different. And given that we were both raised on mid-1990s Saturday night TV, a game show seemed like the obvious choice. Whereas Queen of Soho was about gay rights, the idea for this show is to focus more on satirising attitudes towards unemployment, the government’s approach to benefits, and the idea of social mobility in a world where the majority of the Cabinet went to private school. But if that sounds too heavy for anyone, do remember that it will largely be done through the medium of singing, dancing and ridiculously messy and over-complicated games.'
