Commando Series

Commando Series, a 6km obstacle challenge like no other is coming to Hever Castle in Kent on 14th November! Commando Series gives all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the mud, sweat and pain of real, modern day, commando training, taking on 15 gruelling obstacles over a “wild” terrain course. Conducted with a backdrop of Hever Castle, the historic estate and grounds was originally a medieval defensive castle, the scene is set for a true battle of wills.

Many of the obstacles are designed to be exact replicas of those faced at the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre in Devon, with each obstacle challenging trainees to be the best they can be and allowing the public to experience elements of modern day commando training. Each section of the wild, woodland course demands that each participant digs deep to become a Commando Series finisher. The event is open to adults and young recruits (children aged 8+) with both hard core and family friendly events taking place on the day. Clothes you don’t mind getting muddy are recommended!
