Steve Walker's Big Swing Band

Lincolnshire's big annual picnic in an hangar on a wartime airfield with an Avro Lancaster bomber for company! Organised by the Woodhall Spa Rotary Club, there's seating provided for up to 500 revellers and five hours of musical entertainment. This year, the Digby Military Wives Choir will be followed by Sixties Siren, Billie Monro and then the exciting new Steve Walker's Big Swing Band. A big dance floor and a real ale and wine bar for "top ups" provides everything you need for an great night out for parties large and small, even coach parties.

There's the chance to arrive early and look around some of the museum's wartime exhibits or pop into the Naafi. You can wear wartime fashions or not, as you wish. Plenty of free parking. Tickets are on sale already, either from the Heritage Centre, or via the ticket link provided.
