Iolo Williams

Springwatch presenter and documentary maker Iolo Williams needs little introduction. He is a familiar and much-loved face from television where he has appeared in some of the most popular wildlife programmes of recent years. This is a chance to meet a man whose life has been full of adventures including close encounters with everything from grizzly bears to Komodo dragons.

This hugely engaging talk will take us from his early days as RSPB Species Officer for Wales to the wonders of snorkeling with sperm whales in the Azores, following in Attenborough’s footsteps to film mountain gorillas in Uganda and diving with gannets off Bass Rock for the BBC. Iolo will be introduced by Chris Rollie, the RSPB’s area manager.
