The Waterside Theatre has been working in partnership with Waterside Sure Start to deliver a movement, drama and creative arts programme to 12 mothers between November 2019 and February 2020.

Over the past 12 weeks the women have been working with artist Gemma Walker to explore issues that are important to them through the medium of Drama and the arts.

This event is a celebration of the culmination of this project with performances from the Drama Mama’s and the fabulous Makey Uppers.
