Cromer’s ever popular music festival Folk On The Pier will be celebrating its twenty fifth production in the town’s Pavilion Theatre on 9, 10 and 11 May 2025. What started as a toe-in-the-water twenty-seven years ago has grown into one of the UK’s most enduring and popular annual events attracting some of the best known artists on the folk rock music scene.

Joe & Mary sing intimate love songs about lost love, frightened love, forbidden love, rekindled love and passionate love. Songs about real couples in real relationships going through highs and lows, and despite the lack of harmony in some of the tales, Joe & Mary are always harmonious, as their music delves into Country, Folk, Gospel and Blues. An acoustic guitar and one microphone, individually great singers but together, their voices create a beautiful mellifluous magic.
