The Mechanicals Band perform original music inspired by the poems of one of Coventry’s most famous poets, Philip Larkin. The group began by setting words from Shakespeare to music, and have moved on to explore the works of other great poets. All their music is inspired by literature, and they are a unique and exciting combination of players to see perform.
