Bob Champion won the 1981 Grand National on Aldaniti after a life changing fight with cancer.
It was one of the greatest sporting achievements, earning him the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year prize and a film about his life – Champion - starring John Hurt, told the remarkable story of his battle for life before winning the world’s most famous steeplechase two years later.
Since then, Champion has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
