Never miss another 'Marmalade' show
The Rock With Laugher Show: Marmalade + The Swinging Blue Jeans
A sensational evening of 60s music performed by two of the most popular artistes of the era.
Packed with nostalgia and hits such as Marmalade's Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, Falling Apart At The Seams, Reflections Of My Life, Cousin Norman, Radancer, and from The Swinging Blue Jeans, Hippy Hippy Shake, You’re No Good, Good Golly Miss Molly, You're No Good, and Don’t Make Me Over.
Take a step back in time during an evening true to the 60s when pop music was at its very best.
One of Scotland's most successful and long lasting groups. Their cover of the Beatles' Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da was their big number one and charted for 20 weeks in 1968. They were making hits right up to 1976 when Falling Apart At The Seams reached number 9 in the UK charts. In between that time they spent 120 more weeks in the charts with Reflections and Loving Things.
Marmalade tour dates
With stalwarts Alan Lovell (lead vocal/guitar) and Pete Oakman (bass/vocals) the group have become synonymous with having a great time and working up a party atmosphere that will have everyone up on their feet and dancing.
The Swinging Blue Jeans stormed the charts worldwide with Hippy Hippy Shake and other major hits including Good Golly Miss Molly, You're No Good and Don't Make Me Over.
Alan Lovell and Pete Oakman front the band. Pete was leader of the Bruvvers and wrote Picture Of You for Joe Brown, so you will also hear a taste of their other memorable hits.
