Based on the inspirational true story of Rylstone and District Women's Institute, Calendar Girls tells the remarkable story of a group of ordinary women who do something extraordinary and spark a global phenomenon when they persuade one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference!

Their calendar has since inspired an international hit film, starring Helen Mirren and Julie Walters, a record breaking West End play and the idea has, to date, raised over £3m for Leukaemia research.

Presented by Clacton Amateur Dramatic Society, Calendar Girls is a marvellously funny and touching play which will make you laugh, cry and leave the theatre singing Jerusalem.
