The Hengist Group: The Enjoyment Of Painting

The Hengist Group of Artists has over 80 members and is a friendly and thriving mix of amateur and professional artists who meet regularly on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm at St. Nicholas’ Church at Hengistbury Head to exchange views, attend lectures from visiting artists and enjoy painting together, hence the title for this exhibition being The Enjoyment of Painting.

This exhibition will have up to 60 paintings by the members. The pictures are in all media and will include everything from local scenes to still life and abstracts.
