Moscow City Ballet returns to Chichester to present two classic productions featuring beautiful classical scores from Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, performed by a live orchestra.

Founded by former Bolshoi Ballet soloist and choreographer Victor Smirnov-Golovanov, Moscow City Ballet is one of Russia’s most successful touring companies. They have heralded the New Year at the Theatre for over a decade - if you haven’t seen their work yet this is a perfect opportunity.

The Nutcracker is a perfect festive treat for the whole family, brimming with sumptuous costumes and fairy-book characters, sparkling dances and Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score. A delicious fairy-tale about a Nutcracker doll, who comes alive on Christmas Eve to rescue a little girl from the clutches of the Mouse King and his army.
