A resident of Derby, Mark was an award-winning regional newspaper sports journalist before switching from cricket to crime thrillers. Mark published his first novel ‘Sunbeam’ in 2019, then came ‘Family Business’ and ‘Catalyst’, and these were quickly followed up by ‘The Murder of Miss Perfect’ and ‘Blood on Shakespeare’s Typewriter’ which were both published through SpellBound Books. In June 2024 Mark self-published, ‘The 23-Day Girlfriend’. All six novels, have received top reviews on Amazon, and are fast-moving, plot-twisting crime thrillers set in the city of his birth, Sheffield.
