When Norman Bassett (the lodger) opens the door to Mr Jenkins, the Benefits Inspector, deceptive mayhem follows — as do the undertaker, bereavement counsellor, psychiatrist, Norman's fiancee, a corpse, the ominous Ms Cowper and a rather rebellious washing machine!
