In their 24th anniversary year of playing classic 1970s Genesis, G2 Definitive Genesis are delighted to be returning to the Summers End Festival in Chepstow.

G2 pay tribute to a vintage period in Genesis’ long and colourful history with songs from the four-man “Seconds Out” era (1975-78), and earlier Gabriel years. With a repertoire extending from the 1970 Trespass album to 1980's Duke, G2 faithfully recreate some of the finest progressive rock ever written.

Accolades posted online from recent shows include:

“Best Performance by ANY Trib Band (not just Genesis ones either) I have ever seen...”

“Thanks to all the guys from G2 who were out of this world, I really cannot describe how terrifyingly good you guys are.”

Hear classics such as Dance On A Volcano, Ripples, Entangled, Los Endos, Blood On The Rooftops, One For The Vine, and Afterglow, mixed up with the classics of the Gabriel years, Firth Of Fifth, Cinema Show, I Know What I Like and the infamous Suppers Ready. This is vintage Genesis, performed by G2 to a level Genesis themselves would be proud of!

So take a little trip back and relive those wonderful moments of your Genesis musical history with G2.

Timings:

Richard Macphail will be appearing before G2 to present his new one-man show, "My Book of Genesis", where he will talk about the early years of the group Genesis.

Doors open: 6:30pm
Richard MacPhail - 7pm - 8pm
G2 On Stage: 8:15pm - 11pm
