Happy To Be Here
Russell Hicks heads to Chelmsford Theatre Studio as part of his first tour, but this is not his first rodeo (Warning, this is a stand up comedy show not a rodeo.) He's happy to be here and intends to stick around. So, why don’t British people believe him?
Hot off the back of a starring role in an Amazon Prime show that nobody watched and was immediately cancelled, American comedian Hicks lives in the UK where he allegedly performs stand up comedy. Naturally, his parents think he makes his money through some sort of illegal activity, so please buy some tickets and help him prove his legitimacy.
You may have heard Russell as the voice of Sky Comedy, seen him entertain studio audiences on Have I Got News for You or caught him opening for the likes of Al Murray or Britain's Got Talent winner Axel Blake.
Russell Hicks
'Anyone who has seen Russell Hicks knows that it is never the same show twice. Taking a different approach than most comedians, Russell Hicks weaves improvisation with stream of conscious delivery that has moved many audience members to return for two nights in a row. Nothing in this biography can do his act justice other than to say, you just have to see him live'. 'Russell Hicks is amazing' (Comedy Palace)
