Novelist and Comedian, Alison Larkin, brings her show to Chelmsford fresh from appearances at The Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, Radio 4 Woman's Hour.

Alison found true love for the first time in her 50’s with an Indian climate scientist who also immigrated to the US. Then he died. Then, something wildly unexpected happened. Instead of wanting to hide under the bed and never come out, Alison found herself wanting to live life more fully than ever before.

When Archbishop Desmond Tutu found out about it, he insisted she write this show. With music from Emmy winning composer, Gary Schreiner, it is now touring the UK following a sold out US run.

‘Alison Larkin is marvellously light footed…hugely entertaining’ Clive Davies, The Times

‘Alison Larkin is a brilliant comic writer and performer’ The New Yorker
