The third annual four day Blues In The City music festival this year in aid of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
With many of the top acts from all over the UK and America playing including the Nimmo Brothers, Steve Roux and the Brass Knuckle Band a special one off Supergroup consisting of Papa George, Richard & Valerie Hayes, Sam Kelly, Pete Stroud & Paul Jopson. Kent DuChaine (USA) the legendary Victor Brox Special and many more.
With many more acts playing across Chelmsford on the Sunday at free to enter venues.

Sofie Reed
Influenced by American blues and jazz, Swedish born Sofie Reed changed her plans from theatre school to pursue a career as a singer/song writer. In 1987 she left Sweden and settled in Minneapolis USA.
Utilizing her creative skills Sofie freelanced as a stylist within the local music scene, until one of her clients, Sheila Charles, daughter of Ray Charles, hired her as a backing vocalist and her singing career took off.
