Formed in May 2017 in Bristol, through friendship, and a desperate need for artistic and sonic self-expression, Heavy Lungs went on a frenetic spree. From the first packed out show at Crofters Rights, to recording an EP in 3 days, a raucous set at Simple Things, to supporting Idles then Metz. This is the beginning. This is Heavy Lungs.

The Silver Lines

Imagine wearing a scratchy hand knitted sweater and playing flat out raucous rock n roll music in a stuffy, dilapidated English country cottage… well that’s what it is like to be a Silver Line. Formed by the brothers Ravenscroft who were uninspired by the current landscape of guitar music, decided they were going to make music that turns them on. They have consistently sold out hometown gigs, have had national radio plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X and have played festivals from England to America.
