Capital City Jazz Orchestra, Enrico Tomasso

The Capital City Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2007 and features some of the finest Jazz musicians in South Wales. They play regularly at Jazz Clubs across Wales and have performed at the Brecon Jazz Festival and Swansea International Jazz Festival. In the last 10 years they have worked with a host of international Jazz artists including Clare Teal, Matt Ford, Lee Gibson, Claire Martin, Alan Barnes, Mark Nightingale, Dave O' Higgins, Bruce Adams, Nigel Hitchcock and Bobby Shew.

Enrico Tomasso will join the CCJO. A top trumpeter on the jazz scene. Enrico has won the British Jazz Awards five times. Performing at major festivals and jazz clubs around Europe, his exciting personality and presence on stage as well as his command of the instrument and stylistic invention makes him an outstanding musician, much in demand for live performances and period jazz styles in the studio. He has met and was mentored by Louis Armstrong as a child and has played with many jazz maestros on his journey.
