HMS Pinafore

HMS Pinafore is one of the most well-known of the G&S operas, full of witty characters and memorable music. The story takes place aboard HMS Pinafore where Josephine, the Captain’s daughter, falls in love with lower-class sailor Ralph. The two decide to elope but the Captain discovers their plan and hilarity ensues. The opera features catchy songs like I’m Called Little Buttercup, A British Tar and more.
