Arctic Monkeys + The Strypes
Arctic Monkeys have announced details of a UK arena tour in October and November 2013. The UK Dates commence in Newcastle, at the Arena on Tuesday the 22nd of October, and culminate on Saturday the 2nd of November in the band's home town of Sheffield. Support will be provided by the young and talented four-piece The Strypes.
The dates will follow the release of the band's fifth album entitled 'AM' on Monday the 9th of September.
4 tickets per person. Age restrictions are 16+ standing / 14+ accompanied by an adult and must be seated (For London 16+ standing / under 16s accompanied by adult and must be seated).
This event takes place at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, which has achieved Silver Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
From their humble beginnings as a myspace buzz band, Sheffield's finest indie upstarts, fronted by the cocky but ever clever Alex Turner, still hold the mantle for achieving the fastest selling debut album for a band in British history, even beating the likes of Oasis and the Beatles. Now only that, but all of their albums have reached the no.1 position on the UK album charts. Still looking good on the dancefloor, Alex's vocals and lyrics may have matured over the years, but they still continue to deliver their addictive brash guitar tunes with gritty yet witty lyrics.

The group viciously hammer out no-nonsense blues influenced by the likes of Dr. Feelgood, Chuck Berry, The Yardbirds, The Rolling Stones, Little Walter and Bo Diddley.
